Thirathen Museum in collaboration with Irini Theofanous, educator and musician, creates music education courses for children aged 4-7 years.
Music education in particular is an experiential educational method, which aims to coordinate and transmit music with movement to children through play. Children don't just listen to sounds, but learn to sing, produce the same sounds with instruments, accompany the music with body movements and expressions, and all this in their own improvisational context, which develops gradually. The benefits of music-motor education for children are many: they develop their hearing, strengthen their imagination and creativity, acquire more motor-physical skills (e.g. elasticity, fine movements), well-being, freed thinking and much more.
The classes will take place at the Museum site at 9 Riga Feraiou square, every Monday 17:00 - 18:00.
