On Wednesday, March 26 at 8:30 PM, in the special space of the Museum of Traditional Instruments “Thyrathen”, music becomes a bridge that connects the past with the present, the songs with the musical instruments of the area.
Babis Kakepakis, a graduate of the Patriarchal Supreme Ecclesiastical Academy with knowledge of Byzantine and traditional music, this time leaves the steps of dance to lead us on a musical journey. A journey where sounds meet the magic of tradition.
In this concert, he will be accompanied by two exceptional musicians, Giorgos Gerontis on the lute and Telios Nikolidakis on the guitar.
The program will have two sections: the first will take us on a journey with artistic and traditional songs that awaken memories and emotions, and then Cretan music will take the lead with well-known songs and compositions by the artist himself that will leave their own unique aura. An evening full of sounds that tell stories, in a space that embraces musical heritage.
